Southdown Gun Club has been selected to hold the 2012 CPSA National English Open Sporting Championship to be held at the end of May over three days from the 25th to the 27th. World class sporting targets and Southdown go hand in hand and it goes without saying that this championship will probably be the best English Sporting for years. Club Directors Shaun Miller and Greg Swan have put together the shooting event to include a three day Sportrap with £29 re-entry, a 25 bird pool shoot with flash prizes and a fantastic high gun prize. Don’t miss out on the shooting party of the year, on Saturday evening with a BBQ, hog roast, bar and band.
Course Director Shaun Peckham has come up with a new layout and is incorporating new stands and shooting positions that will not have been shot before. This coupled with the other ground improvements should prove to make this one of the best shooting competitions this year.
